Here is a presentation by CNBC on Africa..The Final Investing Frontier
In Kenya, the image is still pretty tainted by the anarchy after the mess we called ‘elections’.
Anyway, was just listening to CNN and comparisons are now being drawn on whats happening in Iran to be the ‘Kenyan Thing’… similar to the other ‘kenyan thing’ that took place in Zim.
May be we should patent powersharing and tribal warfare…
Ok.. back to business.. This coverage gives a good overview of whats happening in Africa.

Kenyan thing?!…can't they just accept that it's a failure of a system they've imposed on others – DEMOCRAZY![just like Capitalism] It will still occur in many other places…the system needs to be checked seriously.
Hope to catch the repaly one night on CNBC Africa – but they are always showing CNBC Asia at night, or KPLC has cut the power again.
So you wasees saw those sories by Erin Bennet (CNBC)on Copper mining in DRC plus the new big one about solar energy in the sahara. Its like Kenya is being left standing as wazungus nyakua in our back yard…what I love most is watching Big Cat Dairies on animal planet while wondering who's gonna ask me the intimate details of every sound smell, tree, or animal coz thats wea I grew up. Ouch!
MainaT: We lost kiondo.. not again
KaInv: Free markets.. Free Speech.. and Govt oversight to ensure fair play.. great but will always have its hurdles
Banks: Eskom in SA is worse, we are about to get a 34% hike and a possible 85% later in the year..thats after black outs last yr.. LOL may be its an 'african thing'
Anony: Its like watching African Voices on CNN and seeing an interview from a foreigner, on their views.. the whole show..
Keep in mind things must be "not good" for anyone to be looking for opportunities in Africa with its hostile climes, foreign cultures/races, dysfunctional govts including war-zones…so if someone is going to leave their "cozy" western abode for the A'bush what does that tell you?
Anony: Don't get us wrong. Africa is still a great opportunity and rightly the last frontier.
Giving returns currently and in the longrun much higher than most other places.. just as an example.. if you look at entry level stuff, e.g. a bank term deposit. you will get upwards of 5-10% in Africa.. not many a developed nation that will give you that, if at all any…
